Easy guide to overclock E6600 please

Hi, just got my E6600 & DS3 running great, now looking for going for my first ever overclock, I had a quick play with easy tune 5 and it looks pretty straight forward, upping the voltage etc, is it better do the basics from the bios or use easy tune 5 just want to make sure I don't fry the chip
