easy way to install xp from usb

I am trying to install xp onto my netbook from a usb. I thought I could use unetbootin but that doesn't seem to wok with xp. I have just tried usb multiboot 10 but after installing I just get a message that it cannot boot because of hardware configuration errors.

Is there an easier way of getting the iso onto usb to install?

Ms usb boot tool for Windows 7 - never used it but perhaps it may work it is easy with 7 just need an iso
