Hi guys,

Wanted to get your advice. There is a possibility that I need to cancel a holiday to cyprus and it appears that EasyJet don't do cancellations. Is this true? I booked a ticket last Wednesday for the end of the month. Is it possible to sell this ticket to someone else (while changing the passenger details)?

You could sell the tickets to someone else and change the passenger details but they charge to change the name on the tickets (and its not cheap either).

Easyjet definitely wont refund you the money for the flight, i spent ages arguing over the phone to one of their calls people as i wanted to cancel with no luck. They do mention it in the terms and conditions so they are entitled to do it.

Good luck

any changes will incur a fee and any difference in ticket price from when booked to date of change, if you cancel you do not get a refund

You can change the dates, at £25 each ticket for each flight + any other £ they add on that you see on the change window.

But I do not think I have ever heard of them giving a refund if it wasnt there fault.

you should still cancel the flight if you can't sell it and ask for a refund of the government taxes as they only have to pay these taxes once you take the flight. ie if your bums not on the seat they don't pay the taxes and should reimburse you that portion.

Even if the cost is £0? There is an alternative date which is £0.00 but I am assuming EastJet will charge £25 for this?

You'll pay an admin charge of £25 to change the date of departure but no extra as the alternative flight cost is the same as the one you booked. However if you then change the return flight date you'll incur another £25 admin + the difference in flight cost. It might again be £0 but it may be more expensive.
