Hi reduced my oc speed to play some online poker and easytune keep raising it from 2.1 to 2.6 ghz. I keep on having to put it down manually all the time.

At one point whilst putting it down comp froze as volts were set on default and it doesnt like 2.6 on default volts.

Anyone else had problems like this ?

i use easytune 5 for OCing my AMD 3000+, if you click on save after seting the clock speed, it will continue to set it to that until you save it at a lower setting, what CPU/Mobo are you using?

Im telling you this from past experice, dont use easy tune or any OC software. Easy tune sets the OC UNTIL! you restart your pc then the clocks revert back to their original. Overclock in your BIOS, settings are thier directly applied and will never change (hopefully :p )

Using a DS3P (rev3.3) and a E6300.

Yep I think you are right. Seems OK now I have uninstalled it and set it up properly in bios. Damn program had a mind of its own.

You need to set ET5 to 'Autoload last save on next reboot'. Right cllick on the tool tray icon to select it. It's still not the best way to overclock but it is useful for testing.
