eax in games doesn't work

Hey this is a problem ive had for years and finaly desided to do sometjhign about it.

For some reason in games when i try and use EAX it tells me i dont have the hardware to do it. Ive got the latest drivers etc so im a bit confused.

yaeh vista 64bit. I just did some research and discovered that i had installed alchemy but not told which programs to use it. mm i gues this may have fixed it, i cannot check at the moment due to by gpu being KIA almost.

Yup if you are in Vista you need ALchemy installed and to point it towards the games you want to use EAX with. Will work fine then

had some problems getting EAX enabled in Guild Wars despite using Alchemy. Have added it in but still don't get the option to use hardware sound or enable EAX in game??? :confused:

Yeah in BF2 i cant get it to use my creative x-fi. I told alcamy to find bf2 even though it wasn't on the list and still doesn't work.
