eBay - bought some Lego, it was fake and then...

EBay sides with buyer for everything these days, even if the reason is not the seller at fault (which it is in this case) you'll get a refund nailed on no problem.

Edit: also IIRC If the reason you've given for the refund is fake goods you don't even have to send it back, so free fake lego, happy days :D

Yep, all the buyer has to do is open a not as described case and the seller has no option but to either refund or pay for return postage. The system is automated so the seller can't fight it even if they are a private seller that doesn't accept refunds.

Obviously in the ops case they have a legitimate reason but its incredibly frustrating when a buyer abuses the system just because they've changed their mind.
 
My mate bought a 'cheap' (though not really) knock off of the rather expensive Lego Millennium Falcon - usually that is around £550-650 I think.

Looks completely legit.
We got our daughter some weird, massive pink castle .. defiently made with "jenuine leegos" but does the trick.. for the price it was that or some official lego that you could fit in a takeaway box...
