Every now and then I come across an ebay auction for info that looks really tasty but never buy.

I found an auction for info on how to get genuine DVDs from £2.20.

Looks convincing and feedback is good.

Can someone tell me what the scam is here?

It sounds too good to be genuine of course.

If it was genuine why wouldn't he be selling loads of DVDs instead of selling on the information?
