Hiya, need some advise. I've put a concert ticket for sale on eBay because I cant go anymore, and neither are my 2 friends. I've asked my friends and workplace and no one wants it. So, i put it on ebay and recieved a message this morning saying;

"Hi! Just a quick question. Why are you selling this ticket at 5 times face value? It's great, because I'll probably bid around £500 for this ticket and then not pay, which will mean you've wasted your time. If you've bought this ticket and don't need it, why don't you sell it on at face value to someone who does?"

Well, i've started the bidding 4 times lower than face value so I dont know what hes talking about. There anyway to stop this moron bidding and wasting my time?

Cheers

You can cancel any of his bids, even if he wins there is an option to offer the ticket to the next highest bidder.

Report him to eBay.

As above - forward his message to EBay and explain the situation.
If he wins then simply give a "Second Chance Offer" to the next highest bidder.

This is exactly why people are allowed to resell tickets - when they just can't go.
I hate it when people buy tickets to resell at a profit - they are actually one of the few types of people who get really under my skin.
But you've got more than a legitimate reason to sell them.

Hope things go OK with your auction.
