I sold an item for £65 + £10 P&P.

The bidder was from Denmark which was fine (I will probably just put down that I only ship to the UK in the future) but the bidder has not confirmed their address on paypal.

He payed almost instantly for the item through PayPal. However I have read that the money can be taken from my account again if anything funny happens. I don't think it's a scam judging by his messages although that isn't great evidence so I don't want to take any risks (he only has 1 positive feedback as a buyer).

I am currently waiting for him to either sort the confirmed address or get a refund (I would rather just refund it now as it's becoming a bit of a hassle).

I'm not going to sell the item if he cannot confirm his address so how do I go about refunding his money and marking down that the item has not been sold and we both agree to that.

Thanks.

Isn't that classed as a competitor?

You can login to Paypal and refund via a link in the transaction log.

Probably, but anyone who uses the internet and hasn't heard of ebay... I've read lots of posts on here before saying ebay so I thought it would be fine.

Will the buyer be able to leave feedback?

He has paid, you don't appear to think there is anything dodgy so post the item.

I know, but if he says he hasn't received the item and even if I have proof of delivery PayPal can take the money back out of my account and give it back to the seller leaving me without the item and money (from what I have read on their site).
