Hi All,

So here is the deal, 12 months ago, i listed a Bunch of 3MTR USB Cables, 40 in total, set the price at £3.50 + 50p P+P, with an auto accept best offer at £3, i let the listing go on for 30 days. Not realising that i was due to go on Holiday in 28 days.

When i was away i noticed i had sold 26 Cables, so i sent out an email explaining the situation and that i would post the items out in 3 weeks when i return and refund their postage.

I returned home, to find that 11 of the buyers had issued a PayPal "Not Received item case", i sent out all the cables and left good feedback for all.

NOW, a few weeks later, when eBay took £84 from me for fees (been a heavy month on sales) i got some emails saying i was "Suspended" for not meeting their policy guideline, i Explained the situation... All i received back was a "Copy and Paste" Spiel about how they have reviewed my account and their decision is final, that i had been warned (which i hadn't) a lump of 11 Complaints in one Sitting, it seemed the only way out would be to get the buyers to remove their neg feedback left for me and then send an email to eBay, which given the situation and the money in question, aint' gonna' happen. Well, two did this for me.

eBay claim this still wasn't enough. SO, i made a new account and got on with it. I used my phone number at my old work place, since leaving i changed my phone number back to my home phone, then "BAMM!"

New account suspended for linked to an already suspended account.

So, now i have a 1000+ POS Feedback account banned and a new 320+ 100% Account canned.

I Have since made 2 new Bank Accounts, New PayPal, New Email and New Phone numbers. Both banned.

I Can not see any way of a Positive outcome.

Can anyone help?

PS, i know i was in the wrong for not knowing the dates would clash, but... it was a Genuine Mistake.

cant you use someone else's e bay account that you can trust to carry on selling.

I Can, yes, But... i don't want to risk the chance of their account becoming a subject of my issues with eBay, i have no idea how they are knowing it is me, as i say i even set up a new bank acct, so i can only assume they are able to check my details with the banks?

My dad has an ebay acct on the same domain and same ips.

no issues.

use his account then.

if he has no problems then im sure it will be fine.

are you sure e bay is banning you or has someone grassed you up ?

a bad buyer perhaps ?

100% it is ebay, i made a new account, and listed two items to see what would happen, 3 days later account is gone.

I am looking to see if there is any legal advice i can follow.

I am still trying to find a phone number which works.

I did offer all buyers a refund at the time, yes, only four replys and only one asked for a refund, i did not refund him though as he sent the reply 4 days from when i was returning back home. He wasn't one to complain either.

why didn't you just refund everyone when you found out you couldn't fulfill the orders?

^
This really.
I can empathise with what's happened to you, but i must admit, i don't have much sympathy. I know that the bay can be a right pain at times as a seller, but the terms and rules are there to be read and followed.

I also find it a bit rich that you "Not realising that i was due to go on Holiday in 28 days." I think nearly all of us would remember when we were going on holidy, especially when it was only 4 weeks away. For that reason i can fully understand the bays attitude. Using that excuse just isn't going to wash.

I was fully aware i was going on holiday but i did not have a chart with "X Sleeps untill we go" i had no idea the dates would clash.

I accepted responsibility for that, so you have no reason to remind me of that fact, i had over 1030 feedback with 100% positive, i did not gain this over night as a part time eBay User.

eBay phone number is a 0800 number and is available on the website. I can give you the number, but usually they give you a pin number so they know what account it is.

Unfortunately, eBays descision is usually final. Just act meek, apologetic, etc. Act angry and they will tell you where to go!
