Can you hide your purchase history from other users?

I bought something that was a bargain and now want to knock it straight out for profit. I don't really want potential buyers from seeing how much I paid for it.

I've been in this boat before but used my brothers ebay account instead. Not an ideal solution but I don't know any other way

I think you can make the feedback completely private (i.e there are no links to the item) but don't know if it can be done selectively.

Tbh the majority of people on ebay are too dim to go and look at someone's purchase history to see if they're trying to make a quick buck, wouldn't worry about it.

I think it's down to the seller of the original auction and whether he ticked the "allow buyers to remain private" which shows the feedback from them but not the item title and link - if you can see the link in your feedback with the title of the auction then it's too late.

Remember though, if a buyer clicks your feedback in the auction description page, by default it will only show them the feedback you've earn't as a seller, so wont automatically see the feedback for the item you purchased. They will however see it if they click the "view feedback as a buyer" or "view all feedback" - a lot of people don't even know they're there.
