eBay issue

eBay is doing a program for international buyers where seller posts to a UK eBay distribution center and then rest is taken care of. You can opt out of that when listing I believe but why would you if you are only going to ship to a UK address? Not a bad thing if that opens up more opportunities to sell.

The reasons I dont sell my stuff for shipping abroad isnt because I cant be bothered to or its impossible to arrange a courier to do so as indeed it is easy.

Its just in my past experience far more likely for things to go wrong.

Whether you are shipping abroad or its Ebay shipping it abroad, its still going abroad?

It actually is auto selected when I list new items, but I noticed it the first time it appeared. If you go into site peferences under your eBay account, you can turn it off for good there under postage and packaging preferences.

Which i have done now after my first listing.

Like I said, new features are fine but why force it on by default?

Well, quelle surprise eBay have informed me it was a fraudulent account and refunded the charges.

Last time I use that pile of crap anyway, the website is horrendous enough without the scam artists.

I'd like to see ebay side with the buyer saying it didn't turn up if you sent it through the global shipping programme. Mind you I'm sure they'd find a way.

ebay - great for buyers, lottery for sellers.
