eBay Password Reset Requests

I've been bombarded with 66 password reset requests since 10:23 am this morning and they seem to be coming in thick and fast, each request coming from a random IP for example:

187.62.211.25
110.51.137.55
171.35.99.224
14.205.238.235
190.7.157.90

There are no suspicious outgoing connections from my local firewall, and this is confirmed by the firewall (ddwrt) on my router too so I suspect this is just some BOT from around the world trying random reset requests?

The emails are not phishing emails, they are legit eBay ones.

Anyone else or just me?

Just checked my emails and nothing from ebay at all.

Would keep a eye on your account mate some one may be trying to hack your account

Nothing personally but I'd guess someone's got hold of your account details from a list and is trying an old password. Probably been posted on a forum somewhere.

Change passwords on other accounts just to be safe but first check your PC for malware.

It's several bots unless the computers those IP addresses are related to are part of a botnet as four of them originate from China and the other two from Brazil and Columbia.

Password change requests are useless unless they can access the email account associated with it, or intercept the data somehow.
