I listed my old mobile phone about 20 minutes ago for a good price, well its just sold on buy it now to someone in the US  I have my settings in bidding management set to

'Block buyers who are registered in countries to which I don't ship'

How the **** did they still manage to buy it  now I gotta relist and try and let them know I won't post it aboard probably get neg feedback if that ain't understanding....

Whats the point of me setting that up if it don't work, admittingly thats the 1st time its happened since I set that up ages ago.

I've triple checked I got the setting right and didn't change anything on the listing, all is as it should be can't understand why they could bid. I've just sent them a message explaining I set it as UK only as I won't post things abroad, and sent them a mutual agreement not to complete so I can get my end listing fee's back £4 down the loo otherwise + relisting & end listing fee's again

Yeah think I better e mail ebay they'll take a week to answer though :(

Just as a side thought.

You've set it to "'Block buyers who are registered in countries to which I don't ship' "

What if the 'buyer' registered in the UK (of where you are) but wants it shipped to the US?

Technically, eBay is only following your command to the letter.

Totally with you though, it's disgusting, just thinking of a way how they've got round it.

I'm just e mailing ebay as it might happen again, if they registered in the UK I would guess that the bit on the profile would state it, but not sure.......
