Ebay projector, is this right ?

Just bought a Epsom TW420 LCD prjector from Ebay with only 237 hours on it.

Have a look at these, doesn't seem right to me?

I tried it through the PC and HDMI and they are both the same, rainbow colours on the bottom, what is this??

Have now, just cleaned it with my 20d cleaning cloth, still the same

Looks like one of the lcd cells is on its way out, is it still under warranty?

Just checked epsons website and this projector has a 3 year warranty, think you should give them a ring and see what they have to say.

Still in warranty I'll call them tomorrow, it was cheap enough to allow some messing around, how long do I have with a paypal dispute?

See what epson say first, they are usually very good at fixing problems you may even get a new projector out of them.

Cheers, feel a bit better now, just thinking the worst and end up in a protracted Ebay battle with no projector

Epson engineer booked in for Monday / Tuesday \yay/

Engineer just dropped in another projector, not a new one but a refurbished one, looks OK, will check out when I get home
