I have just had a question regarding my phone for sale on ebay

would you accept postal orders posted out this evening with Special Delivery?

not quiet sure what she is getting at here? how safe are postel orders?

Postal orders are great - cash them at the post office when you go to post it, if they cash them thats it, you have the money and it can never be taken back.

Far better than paypal.

I would accept postal orders.

I wouldn't accept that I'd been paid until I received and consequently cashed the postal orders.

i getting to ****** off with ebay.

just had an email saying the item they removed yesteday has been paid for. (wtf?) so checked my account and nothing. (then remembered i sold it using my mates account as i forgot my details. no payment there either.

so now i have sold it again 1 day listing, invoice sent just gotta wait for this one to turn out to be a scammer again no doubt :(

with ebay it depends what you are selling. Laptops, TVs, Ipods etc just attract muppets it would seem. More specialist items tend not to be as bad.

edit arr should have read the thread properly. Mobile phones are the worst and just seem to attract mental cases or scum on ebay! Best way to combat but its not fool proof is to set it to immediate payment by paypal and apply all the buyer requirements you can. This will filter out some of the pondlife.
