ebay second chance question

Hi,

Can I second chance a sold item if I haven't received payment before the 3 days expires?

The option is there but not sure if ill get penalised in any way IE double the ebay fees, the winning bidder has asked me to post the item but hasn't paid so I'm guessing he's just a Messer.

Did you not have instant payment upon winning enabled?

You can cancel the winning bid and then second chance offer someone else.

Not sure, you need to issue a dispute first, for none payment

That's what I'm confused about, the option is there for a second chance but I cant open a dispute unless 3 days has expired, I don't see the point in waiting for the inevitable if I can just second chance it now but if the buyer kicks off because he has nothing better to do I don't know what issues that will cause me and my account

If you do a second chance now and the original buyer pays, you are stuffed

Ah well, I'll wait for the 3 days to expire and raise a dispute, suppose I should have expected the messing around people really do have nothing better to do.

He could communicate any issues with paying to me but hasn't bothered, he has asked me to post the item without paying

Ummm there are not many times when you can agree to purchase something and then say oh wait a minute give me a couple more days to pay.
If you haven't got the means to pay then you WAIT.

Yup, its the waiting for the 3 days to expire before second chancing is what I am querying

Then don't waste people's time by buying the item. It takes 2 minutes to reset your PayPal password, and if you don't have the money, then don't bid. Simples
