eBay - Seller cancelled my order

Do sellers receive strikes if they cancel too many auctions? Similar to how buyers would if they don't to go through with an auction if they win.

I find a great deal of the population thinks there is an honour system for trading. You'll find most rich folks do not have said honour system - it is just about the moolah.

I've cancelled one sale in the 20ish years I've used eBay because I found the item was damaged when I came to pack it. Explained that to the buyer when I cancelled and they had a proper little hissy fit and left negative feedback

Maybe today, but eBay literally has had rules and a feedback system since the start.

They've just ****ed it all up so it doesn't work anymore! When I joined eBay a bid was a binding contract and you didn't mess people about. Now sellers can do this and buyers can cancel orders after 3 days of not paying and you can't even leave comments to warn others. The dream is over.

oh aye eBay has gone well down hill, don't think I've used it in about 4/5 years now

I used to be fairly active on there as well but when the protections for sellers were gradually eroded and eBay side with the buyer 9 times outta 10 with zero proof then nope not a platform I'm interested in.

As for the item in the op, looks like some newbie rider has tried to go skateboarding on them or summit, well either that or that was a narrow ******* tunnel!
