Ebay - Selling

I have within the last half an hour bought £50 worth of car parts from an ebay shop with no problems.. got feedback from him already saying quick payment! :p

The point is your not the one that's going to feel the bother Bio!

You realise potentially you could have put down a fake address, buy all this stuff and just the CC company to reverse the charges?

Seriously, the sellers are absolute idiots for selling to you (no offence, obviously I know your good but they don't!). I suppose the only redeeming fact is by the sounds of it you've got a fair bit of feedback?

Mp4 - Not really - Like I said follow those 3 rules, If you search these forums for people scammed by ebay i bet you 99% of them didnt follow one of those rules!

All I would say is put a bit of effort into your listings. Make sure your totally open and honest - Make it look neat and you shouldn't have any problems!

Ok i have a PP account live now :) seems easy enough!

with the listings would it be good to know html and have a template as such ?

Deffinatly,

There are templates out there - But if you do use one edit it to look a bit individual :)

Although you don't need to learn the ins and outs of HTML, just the code for colour, pictures, bold, paragraphs etc. w3 school is a good online refrence :)

good luck

I've never had a template or any html in my listings (not even so a link is clickable) and I've sold everything just fine. Including phones, mp3 players etc. I've only ever failed to sell one thing, which I then sold on here I think. Fees are a rip off though.

Yes I know, but it just goes to show... and most have been bought with a CC.

Have 122 feedback (one neg, moron).

I've sold loads of 'old junk' I had lying around recently. Clocked up £420 in the last month just from old phones, bits and bobs etc.

Its very easy.

The 3 main things are.

A bit of webspace to host pictures (sod paying ebay for it!)
Some parcel tape and wrapping paper ready.
A set of scales to calculate the postage.

Ebay prestty much does the rest for you.

i guess pound land would be the best place to get parcle tape / bubble wrap etc? .. maybe scales?

Yeah, if not post office/corner shops usually have packing supplies.

As do lots of dedicated packaging sellers on ebay itself! (good value for money if you buy in bulk)
