Ebay vs. The Cable Connection

Does anyone suffer from, or have any ideas as to why, when Ebay is open on a tab in firefox, all other websites grind to a halt?

Ive been testing this out for the last 20 minutes, but basically as above, no matter what website it is, it will fail with a "Firefox can't connect" message whilst Ebay is open on a tab. When i close ebay, give it 10 - 15 seconds, everything is fine again.

What the hell is that website doing to my connection?

Nope, It'll be a problem at your end. Trying clearing all cookies in case you have something odd. Or it might be a dodgy add on you have.

It's possibly an issue with your FF, as it's not happening here.

As Acidhell sas trying clearing your cache etc, shutting the browser down completely and possibly if that doesn't work rebooting (it could be something like Flash of Java playing up)

What ISP? I'm assuming virgin as you mention cable.

I've run CC cleaner and rebooted and it still appears to be doing it. It might, on reflection, be something to do with noscript blocking something it uses or relies on.

Odd... but nevermind. Cheers!
