any one here have probs with getting items bought on ebay
have bought a few items lately and used postal order to pay by registered letters,and found out that ebay can do very little to help if seller doent post items which is bull,also found out that seller details like address and contact number that ebay have may not be correct :mad:

I've never had a problem with receiving goods, do you always check an e-bay'ers recommendations and ratings ?

I choose who I buy off carefully so not had a problem with them. How ever I bought a game off ebay that was cracked and recieved a refund with out any problems - was a inconvenience and lost the paypal charges.

Selling is not so good. I have had buyers who I don't want to buy it and had to chase them. Someone complained the item was never recieved, spent more than a week telling him to go to the depot and check. :mad:

one of sellers ,had negitive feed because they never reply to buyers,took me month to get item
another keeps feedbach private on ebay,has around 97% feed,if send e-mail ,takes a wekk to rely or just doesnt
sent a poastal order by registed mail and wasnt deliverd,so canceled the postal order,seller now want me to pay by paypal,sellers details are not same as ones given for delivery,asked seller if i send 60% through paypal and rest as cash on delivery,sellers says no
was also given contact number for seller from ebay and doesnt work,seller gave me mobile number for him,wonts answer when rang,only if i text after 24 hrs get reply by e-mail only which only got contact number outside of ebay 6 days ago

have had probs both ways,just lately having these probs,have order items from ebay through my wifes credit card and had to get refund from credit card and wife wonts do it again,so i got my own now with low credit as i dont want to get caugh again

I bought a DVD, and it didnt have the slipcase like he said and he gave me a refund and told me to keep the DVD. Suppose it was only £4 but good none the less. Always get from people with no negatives.

what do i do with this guy,hard to get hold of ,keeps feedback private,details like contact and address different from whats on ebay,have offered to pay 60% and rest as cash on delivery
just dont want another problem,at this moment ,not saving as can get item for same price online retailers lately
couls send all the money and hope seller sends or ?????????

it's in ebays term and conditions to have an up to date contact number/address. Report hime before you send any money and they will suspend him until he provide current details. If he does this then you have nothing to worry about
