I know sorry but I must vent my anger!!!!!!!

Sold an iphone on ebay Sunday for £150, had no payment and no response from the 0 feedback ****, so have re listed it and its now sold for £100, this has infuriated me and this scum bag lowlife idiot has lost me £50 and all the **** will get is 1 little non payment strike against it, when really it should get its first lovely negative to warn others of how much of a pointless time wasting **** it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has happened three times to me in the last six months and its really annoying, I don't even sell much on ebay so I can imagine certain businesses find it even worse.

He hasn't really lost you £50. He never intended to pay.

You could have always listed it so that it finished at prime time on a Sunday evening.

same happened to me yesterday, 0 feedback and based abroad, "bought it now" and didnt pay. its very annoying i have to admit, you have to take the rough with the smooth though im afraid

If you do a Buy it now, check require immediate payment, also learn how to use your bidder filters to stop people like this bidding on your items.

Always list on a Sunday evening for a week, and have that only people with a certain rating can bid on it.

He has as a bidder behind him bid the £150 also and had very good feedback.

So second chance it to the other bidder?

Regardless of this, the non-paying bidder artificially drove the price up as a lot of people 'test the water' so to speak, the phone sold for what people were prepared to pay for it at the end of the day.

People failing at selling in ebay

Just block people with < 10 feedback from bidding.

Simples.

I did he didnt accept prob found another phone by then. Also it was the 0 feedbacker that must have put in a high max bid, the guy with good feedback bid upto £150 then gave up, so yea basically I have been owned.

You can change your account settings to prevent such buyers from seeing your listings.

Log into your ebay account and go to 'My Ebay' > 'My Account'

There are loads of options on the left, but click on 'Site preferences' and then 'Buyer Requirements' and click edit. Just set everything up as you would like it

I only did this from the horror stories I read on here. Granted its not 100% fool proof but its better than the standard settings most ebay accounts have
