Anyone got these pads?

Are they good?
Do they create lots of dust?
Do they last a reasonable amount of time?

They create hardly any dust, they last a reasonable amount of time. They work as well as OE pads, but in reality probably no better.
I had them for a couple of years. No complaints on performance, but no noticable increase in stopping power.
Great for reducing brake dust though!
 
I got some EBC greenstuff pads and EBC Turbo Groved and part drilled disks on the MX, they work great and stop the car nice and quick, faded half way round my first lap of the nurburgring but after that good spanking i let them cool then did 3 laps one after another with no fade at all, if that aint a good advert for these disks / pads i don't know what is!

OE pads do vary, my Astra GTE had OE Vauxhall pads and they made loads of dust, the Rover ones make very little.

As long as the Greenstuff arent too bad then Im happy. A friend fitted Mintex and they made loads of dust and wore down very quick.
At that money I want them to last a while.

They sound good, I think I'll get some :D

I've again got another set of EBC's to fit to my Sprint-thing. I'll shout if I get on well with them :)

(They were dirt cheap and any slight improvement is always well appreciated, plus, it'll be a good experiment)

I don't expect miracles though, just worthwhile pads :)
 
Are they good? - YES, IMO
Do they create lots of dust? - NOPE, ALMOST NONE
Do they last a reasonable amount of time? - YEP, MINE LASTED AGES

Some people hate them as they're poor on track. They're only meant to be for fast road use which they're perfect for, if you want track pads then look elsewhere.

Yeah that's good I wanted fast road really. I drive on the road most of the time. Sure I'll take the car to coombe at some point, but I didnt want a track pad that needs heating up loads when Im in rush hour.
Still sound good :)

Ive got brand new discs so we shall see how the eating goes :D
 
I had Reds on my S13 and greens on my E30 325 and now my MX. Never had a problem with any of them.

The greens are just like normal pads from cold, give them a reasonable prod and they soon wake up and are IMO a good deal better than OEM pads. They give a good deal more stopping power than my tyres have capability when fully warm.
The only possible downside is that you need to be aware that the braking ability changes with temperature (getting better as they heat up), meaning that you have to adjust your driving style accordingly when pushing on.
 
Just to echo the above posts ^ I've had them for three consecutive pad changes on the MG now and I love them. They seem to stop well without locking the wheel too easily.

They are NOT track pads though, get the red pads for track use.

I've recently stuffed some Greenstuff pads on my front-end & they seem absolutely spot on!

In fact, a couple of mates are getting there kit fitted this weekend as it happens! :cool:
