Guidance appreciated.
I have two secondary Samsung 1T HDD's, one being an F1 and one being an F3 - whilst I was conditioning my primary SSD with the Intel toolbox I decided to check the smart attributes of my Samsung drives - what concerned me was the high number of “ECC on the Fly count” - but only on 1 of the two drives....is this something to be concerned about. The count rate just keeps on increasing until reboot, when it all starts again. The other Samsung drive has a count of zero. As I said, its not my primary drive but it is my main back up drive and houses my outlook pst files etc. I do back this drive up externally but it is critical data.
Cheers
