Hi Guys,
Just got an ECS 570 Sli board. Brand new. Stuck a E6600 in and 1gb corsair ram. All new. I have connected the mobo power connector, all 24 pins, and the atx connector. When I hit the power it lights up for a second and then turns off. If I remove the atx power connector it stars up and all fans are spinning and the drives wiz away but theres no video..
anyone any ideas whats going on?
Also there is a power connector for sli on the board, ive tried this with and without but it still doesnt make a difference. there isnt any on board video and ive tried 2 different psus, 2 different pci cards, and swapped memory around, no change
thanks for your help!

Ok just checked and it says it supports the C2D so make sure the 4 pin cpu connector is in then try a cmos reset, also try using one stick of ram.

Then rma it.

Any particular reason you went for the ecs.

I have the mobo connector in, and the 4 pin atx also connected. no joy, also tried different mem combos and a cmos reset, no joy, am I safe to say the board is fried?

Went for it due to its super cheap price tag, I guess I have paid the price for that..

Can you try running the board out of the case! just in case there's a short somewere.
