I am angry about Ed Sheeran actually.

A - Going on Tour
B - Claiming he writes his own songs (just being in the same room as the chap who actually writes them with you is not writing your own songs)
C - Being Ed Sheeran
D - Being utterly devoid of talent apart from being a YES man to the record boss.

E - Being Ed Sheeran.

Someone please start a thread about SPG angry about Ed Sheeran.

Why?

I've no time or interest in finding out if he writes his own songs or not, as this is the case more often than not with big name musicians.

He certainly has talent.

Ticket tout website operators are utter scumbags. They use bots to buy tickets as soon as possible and re-sell at a hugely inflated price.

Touts are scum. Went for Radiohead tickets over CHristmas. Sold out in seconds, for sale again at hugely inflated prices in minutes.

But it would be pretty simple to make it pretty much impossible to tout, yet nothing happens - I'm not convinced the ticket sellers really care. I guess from their point of view, the touts guarantee that all tickets will sell, and sell early.

For that matter, Ticketmaster and their ilk aren't a whole lot better with their risible 'admin' fees.

Funny he should say that. Look at what this absolute muppet has done:

An Ed Sheeran super fan claims she is being forced to sell her car and move home after accidentally paying more than £1,300 for the star’s Manchester Arena gig.

Charlotte Duckworth, 21, has slammed a ticketing website after being ‘ripped off’ for three tickets to Sheeran’s sold out arena gig in April.

Devastated Charlotte, from Littleborough, Rochdale, said she thought she was paying £440 (in euro) for all three tickets for her and friends on ticketing website Viagogo.

But it turns out she was paying around £291 PER TICKET, with a staggering £280 booking fee, £22 delivery fee and £65 in vat on top of that.

Deary me. :p

I can't do with Ed Sheeran's music but at least he's way above RHCP, Coldplay, Radiohead and the Pet Shop Boys.
He does seem a top bloke though and doesn't mind the pee being taken out of him.
Holding a crowd at Wembley with just an acoustic & loop pedal is pretty amazing.

Have you just compared ES with Radiohead?

Most of the big reseller sites are owned by the ticket companies. They get more in commission and fees from the resell sites than they do selling the tickets originally.

As said it would be easy to stop it but they have no interest in doing so.

No point in arguing . I suppose the average 13 year old wouldn't really like Radiohead.

Bit too "complicated".
