Dammit Pete thats a banging line up. Hmmm i would love to go but i also want to go see Lashes on the 6th October up my way. I suppose i could go to both but thats like canning it 2 in the space of a week :D

It's the hassle and cost of getting down there thats the main problem.

Aye i cant really knock eddie, seen him a good number of times over the last few years, there are DJs out there who have yet better skills, but Eddie knows the CDJ1000 inside out.

u guys need to get yourself to tall trees in yarm more often!

i have been djing since 1993 and have tried cd mixing on a few ocasions and it sucks it takes a lot of the flair and artistry out of mixing

so untrue, looks like we are not going to agree,
try looking at some of the eddie videos posted in
this thread ;)

I think the main difference irrespective of talent is that Eddie H sounds poo* hot in a night club where as the 2 links i posted above are purely showing off your tricks and flicks for the sake of it. It certainly wouldn't get me moving on the dancefloor

(highly bias since i listen to little else apart from trance and similar)

* ooops!

Yeah sort of changed genres.

Mixing hip hop is totally different to dance.

I like the skill used in your clips, but there
is no way on earth i could like it in a club ;)

same here - theres no denying they're very good at mixing that sort of music, but it wouldnt get me up on the dancefloor :D

although i've heard OF mastersafe i haven't actually seen or heard him play. but my fave dj from way back when was easygroove. he really did know how to please the crowd as well as getting technical on the old cross-fader.... :D
