I saw him in my local council park when I was boy jumped a stack load of buses. As a boy of 9 I was very impressed, so much so I was making jumps of my own on my bike and promptly ended up knocking myself out.

Saw this on the One show last night...the man really is a legend, and his wife/partner must also be applauded....what she is doing with him is purely inspirational.

Remember going to watch him at Redcar Racecourse when i was a little boy....he was my hero at the time.

An amazing man, an inspiration to us all, especially when we are faced with something difficult, think of what Eddie Kidd has done over the past two months given all the issues he has and remember that nothing is too difficult if you have just a modicum of that man's determination and attitude.

I am moved by the man to be honest, so much so that I think I'll write to him to tell him so and to give a donation to his foundation.
