hey,

Does anyone know of a tool/program that will allow me to extract the vbios from a phiniox FSC .bin BIOS and replace with a new one?

I've tried everything I've found but so I'm been unable to edit the .bin file.

any ideas??

cheers in advance :)

Hi guys,

Thanks for replying.

I've tried cbrom215, phoenix editor, BIOStools, BIOSview (from link provided)and BIOSedit.

The main problem I have is that none of these programs seem to support the file type that I downloaded from FSC.

I have a .ocf (latest bios - but still hasn't got vbios included) or a .BUP file (earlier version I think)

If you can help I would be forever in your debt!!!

I'll try anything!!! (well, within reason;))

winphlash - is that an editor??? I think I download that but it seemed to ony be a flash agent.

can you upload to some where???

cheers again!!

I am just uploading the whole lot to megaupload, don't blame me if it stuffs up what you are wanting to do though...!!!

I will edit this post with a link when it is finished uploading.

I'm not going to hold you responsible so don't worry.

Your a GOOD MAN. Thanking you :)

Thanks for the upload Vimes.

I've tried all the phoenix bios editing tools but none will open either .BUP or .OCF :(

I'll have to go back to google, maybe try seraching "edit .OCF" as no doubt the BUP file will return loads of DVD stuff.

Cheers again!
