editing/changing desktop effects on Ubuntu 8.04

Hi

Just done a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04, installed the nvidia drivers and enabled custom effects (which seem to work fine)

the problem is i can't see any menu to let me edit the desktop effects - there used to be beryl or emerald or compiz or something with lots of editing something

am i missing a menu somewhere or do i need install something else - and if so what?

Go to Add/Remove then search for compiz, the top entry should be Advanced Desktop Effects Settings (ccsm),

Install the package, now in system - Preferences the Advanced Desktop effects option is available.
