You don't want a child that is dependant on the parent to play all the time, just like you don't want a child who is socially poor. There is a happy medium.

Older children yes, but at 10 months old a child will react better to human interaction than being left with some app.

Childcare costs are horrible

Even with the child at achool. Afterschool club is over £100 a week from 3pm - 5pm per day

We pay that much for a childminder who takes from 0800:1730 3 days per week and takes the kids to the park, farm or the zoo everyday and cooks good healthy meals. You are being fleeced there.
