Im in a two year contract on EE on the £47 a month 10gb 4g contract with a S4.

I also have two other sim only contracts with them.

I used to be able to get a signal at home and at my partners. Now i get nothing and 90% of the time emergency services only is displayed.

I had been messaging them on facebook and they said they would ring and seemed very helpful.

When they finally did ring me yesterday after being put through several departments and being put on hold i was offered a femotcell for half price of £50 odd quid!!!

They want me to pay my contract for a area that did have a signal and now does not. All they keep saying is the computer says you should have signal. So im now paying in excess of £600 a year for my contracts that cant even be used at home.

So any advice on where to go next apart from cancelling my direct debits and risk ruining my credit rating. I would do this if i didnt have a gold number.

??????

Contact TSA if they're not willing to help, you're paying for a service which simply put, not getting. You can cancel the contract on the basis you are not getting the service and they have to oblige to either fix it or cancel the contract with no costs incurred from your end.

sorry who are TSA?

and i just check the coverage maps and they both say i should have excellent 2g. Even if i lock the phone to 2g and switch everything off im still on 1 bar to nothing even by the window.

just in case im reading the checker wrong the post codes are BR1 3PG and BR6 9PW

As part of the network consolidation that's going down on the EE network there will be a reduction in masts - this is unfortunately, not without customer impact. If you're paying £50/month you should be entitled to a free femto though - this would make you an A band customer and they would normally cave in instantly.

well one is £46 with EE and two are sim only with T mobile but they all come under one account.

I've noticed the quality of 4G is not as good as it used to be, it used to be isanely fast and had SOLID signal i Manchester, however now it's not as fast and some places it's dipping to 3G.

I'm on 47 quid a month 10g contract too.

voda and o2 all work well enough.

Like i said previously my argument is that there was a signal and now there isnt.

I noticed this in Stoke around August. Hardly any signal anywhere in my house with EE. Dumping it for Tesco Sim Only at the end of the month anyway.

What's happening when they phone up - do they offer you anything? Do they acknowledge a mast removal or similar?

they offer a half price signal box but keep stating that i should receive a signal.

there postcode checker is a thing of fantasy
