Eeeek please help!

Hey guys,

I have just had someone come and view my car (renault laguna 1.9 dci) 2002 plate.

All of my chassis numbers match up ut I cannot locate the engine number.

I am wondering if the DVLA have made a mistake on the V5 or if I am just being really stupid.

Can anyone offer any advice?

It'll be stamped in some really stupid place, under a plastic cover or on the bottom of the engine.

Tbh, engine numbers dont bother me when looking for cars as long as the chassis and V5 match.. Your buyer might feel differently though

if you do an engine swap (ie like for like) do you need to inform the dvla then?

and it might be worth checking the owners manuel (if you still have it) and see what it says
