Eels

Brilliant band, Swedish friend of mine introduced me to them a year or two back.

Just had 'Fresh Feeling' and 'Trouble with Dreams' on.

Since I started listening around 3 hours ago, ive become considerably more happy. :)

Havent heard that name for over 10years - great band - dont follow them that much but loved their first album...

One of my all-time greats - darn it, might have to buy all their albums now, anyone want to tell me in what order (other than chronological)...

This was on tv the other day, pretty interesting stuff :)

I think their/his (never sure how to refer to them/him) most recent album, 'Blinking Lights and Other Revelations' is the best since Beautiful Freak. Some brilliant songs on there.

Personally I'd only rate 10% of their songs as excellent so I guess we have opposite tastes in music! :)

I bought their album on the basis of Susan's House and was left very disappointed.

Only been listening to them for a few weeks, got the 'Meet the Eels album: Essential Eels 1996-2006 Vol 1.'

Fav tracks from the album =

Novocaine for the soul
Susan's house
My Beloved Monster
Your lucky day in hell
Last Stop: This town
Flyswatter
I like birds
Mr E's beautiful blues
Saturday Morning
I need some sleep < Big fav..

10 out of 24 tracks aint bad, I think maybe it's because it's a mix of albums?

Anyone able to suggest any tracks that are similar to the above, or an album that had these tracks on?
