Efficient method to get blood out of a finger

I had recently done one with home testing kit and the following video I was sent was helpful but pretty much covers what has been said above.

I had to do the test twice as I could not get enough blood out to fill the two vials that were sent.

I don't have any pain after off my fingers, they go back to normal immediately

If it's for a blood glucose test you need to apply the blood to a tiny little test strip, it's just much easier to do accurately if it's your finger.

Get the depth 7 needles, i find that my hands have to be very warm with the standard depth 5.

As for Type 2 - mine shot up to 18 after covid, having lost 2 stone , along with metformin and stains for blood pressure - i`ve changed my diet and my last check it was 5.7. Keep it up, and do cut out (totally) sugar, in everything.

I'm not surprised you can't get blood out your finger, it's competing with the maple syrup coming out.

I use the Freestyle Libre CGM kit.

My hospital refused to pay for it but it's worth it for my health (type 1 diabetic of 40 years)
