De Gea wasn't that expensive (wasn't even £20m when majority of headline deals in the EPL were ~£30m+at the time)For a pretty penny aswell lol.

I was only poking a bit of fun. I think nemtizz was tooHe is talking about nurturing young talent. Young talent is players who are young with potential. DDG and Martial both come under that category no.
Still hasn't got over the Ranieri sacking. What's happened to Mourinho lol

A little??? We beasted you for most of the game and were denied the opportunity to force you into chasing the game after 10 minutes, that surely deserves more than a littleI do feel for Saints a little , they definitely made it a fabulous game
The other forwards just weren't clinical enough (not that Utd don't have that issue most days of course)
Zlatan, what a guy. Lacks a bit of confidence I think, probably needs to work on that.
His movement in the box is what really impressed me.Not sure what to think of Gabbiadini really, need to wait a little longer to see if he can maintain it. He's hardly got an impressive career goal scoring record at the various clubs he's been at. Second goal was a great finish though.
I suppose it depends on the service he was getting. We've been providing some great service all season with no one bar Austin reliably converting. If his previous record was restricted by poor service, perhaps the opportunity rich life he'll lead at Southampton will allow that record to improve. Not sure what to think of Gabbiadini really, need to wait a little longer to see if he can maintain it. From what I have seen, albeit limited, very much like a Pippo Inzaghi. His movement in the box is what really impressed me.
Its no way as cut and dried as that, too many games yet to go and at the end of the day for Utd's pre-season targets, today was meaningless except for a bit of mid-season motivation. This game was basically the turning point for us. If we lost tonight I don't think we would have recovered and it would have been all down hill for the rest of the season. If we can get a result against Chelsea the world will be our oyster.
Exactly the player I thought of too. He's very much an old fashioned penalty box striker. From what I have seen, albeit limited, very much like a Pippo Inzaghi.
