I suspect it will be a much changed side given our injury problems. With Coutinho definitely out of the weekend and Sturridge & Lallana still only touch and go, I can't see us risking Firmino who picked up a knock on Saturday too.

I'd guess something along these lines:
------------Mignolet
Arnold--Lucas--Klavan--Moreno
------------Stewart
-------Grujic-----Ejaria
-----Mane--Origi--Woodburn

I hope rather than expect Woodburn will play but given our shortage of front players it's possible.
 
Has he? I read a while back that he's started running again but I've not noticed him in any training pics and iinm he's not played in any reserve games either.

If we can control Mane and Origi, I believe we'll have a chance. Should be a good game and it'll certainly capture the imagination. :D

We'll probably play a weakened side too, the league is more important, but I'd love to see an upset!

I'll be surprised if Ejaria doesn't play. If I'm being honest I suspect Wijnaldum will start though and in place of Woodburn - as I said it was more hope than actually expecting Woodburn to start.

edit: It's not really a surprise as I'm sure all 3 would have been in the squad tomorrow regardless of our injuries but Ejaria, Alexander Arnold and Woodburn have all been left out of the under 23 match today.
 
Team is as I predicted, Wijnaldum starting instead of Woodburn.

Edit: not quite actually. Can is playing instead of Grujic too.
