egg custard tarts

just been to tesco's and thought i would treat myself to a couple of egg custard tarts.

i guess its a either love it or hate it thing. just spoke to the mrs and she cant stand them.
so who likes them.

They are rather lovely, however, custard slices>custard tarts.

I work at Tesco and everytime i stack items on the shelves, i'm always curious as to what they taste like - some items do look tasty on the packaging. I had some egg custard tarts a few weeks back and i actually quite like them.

Egg custard tarts are great with nutmeg sprinkled on them however Muban is right Custard Slices are even better, I think it is impossible not to make a mess eating them though.

I spoon the egg custard out and eat that, then throw the pastry(sp) away
