But you entered the thread.... and chose to comment and complain.

A far more accurate simile would be opening the door to some Jehova's witnesses, inviting them in and then shouting at them for being there.

does anyone in the UK actually go through with the animal sacrifice/giving the meat to the poor thing (that would be quite cool in a way - bag of freshly slaughtered chicken dumped in the lap of the tramp on London Bridge....)... or is there some modern day workaround where you can have a meal/give a token donation to charity etc..?

Well its got to be done. Even when you try booking 6-7 months in advance and they turn you down. You know they are just taking the ****

So you just ring in sick. They full know why we have rang in sick. But can't do anything about it. As long you know how to use & abuse the work system (every company is different) then you can get away with a lot. Lol :p

Not many in the UK will do it here. Most people will send money to their native country (Bangladesh, Pakistan etc).

No.

It a lot easier to have it done abroad. Countries that i have mentioned and there are few others are poor.

So when my self and others in the uk send money abroad. its with one intention.
Let the people do the sacrifise for us, and feed the poor/share on behalf of us

As in the UK Your not really poor unless you're living on the streets. Well you know what i mean.

Posting the thread is analogous to some JW knocking on the door and shouting "God Bless you!" "We are here to save you!" or some other remark etc


And then the OP posting a link where readers can find out more? That's like the JW putting a pamphlet through your door.


How many people here genuinely welcome that?

A subforum would solve this. We have a subforum for nearly everything else...
