Eject USB 3.0 Root Hub (USB 3.0) after windows update, help ?

I have the same. It's one of the internal USB 3.0 controllers being seen as removable. Just ignore it and hopefully MS will fix it in a later update. It's really no big deal. Just don't eject it, else you will have to reboot to get the USB ports associated with that controller active again.

Bit of a thread bump, but I'm running the Creator Fall Update insider builds and they did fix this problem.

Hi, what is the build full version number of your install, I have all up to date updates far as I am aware ?

I'm guessing you know how to check for the build number right ? cmd prompt then type winver then ok, just saying in case you didn't know, some people don't.

p.s, and what model of HUB do you have too including model number, is it same one as mines ?

It's the one built into my motherboard, but pretty much every machine I've used on the creators update has a device showing as removable that shouldn't be.
