Because it fluctuates too much and gets very loud at times. Rather have the option to increase fan speed if temps go up. Apparently it can be done via the bios or a fan controller. I must be special because I've tried both.
Ok using the cpu fan speed control in the bios works....sort of. Its still too loud and fluctuates which gets annoying. Another way is to under volt the pump. All I did was move the wire across 2 pins on the Molex power cable. Now under full load the pump stays nice and quiet whilst still maintaining good temps.
