Just recieved my 2 EK water blocks for the Lightnings, I'm amazed at how heavy they are. This is the first time I've watercooled GPU's so it took me by surprise. Just need the rest of the parts to turn up and I can progress the build.

They are very heavy!
As they are so heavy be very very careful placing the block onto the PCB, one slip and somethings going to break...and it won't be the block.
I tend to place the block down and seat the PCB on top of it (with tim readily applied of course). Makes it a little easier to line up too

I like that idea, will do the same when I come to fit them. Cheers

My aquacomputer 680 ltg blocks were the first gpu blocks I have done too. I held the blocks in mid air and lowered the card onto them.
