EK bridges, flow direction.

Can't find ANY info on this, on the diagrams in the installation guide for EK multi card bridges they show the flow coming in the top left port, and out the bottom right port as so:

It would be much easier if I plumbed this in backwards, however the doesn't seem to be any into on the net as to if this is okay or not, any ideas?
 
I'm currently running a triple parallel FC bridge mounted upside down with the two ports at the bottom.
For some weird reason, one of the ports requires a g1/4 extender or it'll probably leak and I just happened to have one that I don't remember buying and it definitely didn't come with the bridge.

If you need a pic, let me know :)

ED: Sorry I see you only want to use the side port and one of the top ports, just backwards. Yes, you can do that, but it could possibly/slightly impact on flow. Best to ask EK.

Thanks dude, I just managed to notice the bit I missed in the guide "Ports can be exchanged, meaning inlet can be used as outlet and at the same time outlet can be used as inlet." :)

Just a quick note though, the port your saying about that needs an extender, is it the top right one on the diagram I linked? (with the X by it), because on a parallel bridge that isn't actually a port, it's a hole left over from when the block was milled, they just threaded it so it would take a G1/4 plug (should have come with the block), if you try and use that as an inlet/outlet it will cause uneven flow issues for the cards.
 
I am using that port with an extender and flow is awesome :)
All three cards are within 1-2 degrees of each other and I didn't even need to bugger about with shifting air bubbles on the initial fill, which is a bit of a first for me.

As you're not having any issues it's not a problem, but for for reference the image you linked is actually a screw up EK made when creating the diagrams for the new look blocks, whoever did it didn't really understand how parallel differs from serial, it's supposed to be like this diagram from the older looking model (they are the same internals):

The reason for this is because water takes the path of least resistance so if you were to use top right and the side port then it would flow through them and ignore the cards. If you use top left and side then it will split the flow evenly between all cards (the optimum way) and if you use both the top ones then instead of flow being split evenly the majority of the flow will go thought the card closest to the ports with the next card getting substantially less flow and any further cards getting less each time.

Of course as long as the card getting the least flow is still getting enough to not negatively affect temps it's not really an issue, hence why your setup is doing fine :) it's one of those things that's not a problem unless it's a problem, it's just something that is usually advised against.

I think that it perhaps works especially well in my case because I'm running a dual loop and the gpu part is basically res>pump>terminal>1080 rad>res.
Simple as you like and there are no other blocks or rads to inhibit flow in any way.
