EK-D5 X-RES drain port question

I'm about to replace my XSPC dual bay res with an EK-D5 X-RES and wanted to know if the normally unused inlet port could be used as a drain port?

I've currently got a load of additional tubing in my loop to accommodate a drain port which (to my eyes at least) looks ugly, so I wanted to replace it with something a little neater which I think I can achieve if I can use the second inlet port as a drain port.

I tried it on the Photon D5 and it worked. ok not the same part but the same principal.

then being a useless Corsair 900D there is nowhere to fix a drain port! never mind... sulk...

Yeah, should work then

And yes I agree, the Corsair cases are not ideal for wc, too much modding required to get things to fit without looking like a mess!
