Ya there is water in the rad. I got rid if some more air but still water block is empty there is water in the pipe but very low going from the rad to the block
It can only be an air block. you'll have to keep at it mate I'm sorry
keep cycling the pump and changing the orientation of the rad and block. if the pump is stable do it with the res top off.(shouldn't matter about res top but cover all bases).
The fact any water has got to the block rules out a blockage in the rad, well at least a complete blockage. Did you flush the rad before you installed it?
Well I run liquid through and left one side open the water block is fine it's just for some reason don't fill up. So I say I will turn the PC on tomorrow after the leak test and see how it goes.
The reason it looks "odd" is a combination of the fins in the block reducing the amount of coolant in that area and the "frosted" appearance of the plexi, this threw me slightly when I installed one of these blocks a few months back, if you shine a torch directly onto it so the light reflects back through the coolant you will see its fine. Mynight's image looks different because its an older design with clear plexi, and I believe less fins.
