Ek ltx block

Well pump is not loud at all. I tried what you said but still the block is empty. If you touch the block surface should it be very cold.

It will feel cold yes.

How is the pump connected to the psu? Molex?

My old dcp 4.0 came with a voltage reduction cable so it ran at 7v rather than the full 12v do you have something similar?

If you shake the rad can you hear water sloshing around?

Ya there is water in the rad. I got rid if some more air but still water block is empty there is water in the pipe but very low going from the rad to the block

It can only be an air block. you'll have to keep at it mate I'm sorry :(

keep cycling the pump and changing the orientation of the rad and block. if the pump is stable do it with the res top off.(shouldn't matter about res top but cover all bases).

The fact any water has got to the block rules out a blockage in the rad, well at least a complete blockage. Did you flush the rad before you installed it?

Yes I flushed the rad. I even took the pipe out of the block coming from the rad and turn the pump on it was all good. The liquid is flowing good

Is there anything in the block you can see?

might sound stupid but can you pour some liquid into the block and reattach the pipe see if it pushes through?

Well I run liquid through and left one side open the water block is fine it's just for some reason don't fill up. So I say I will turn the PC on tomorrow after the leak test and see how it goes.

What CPU is it mate? But yes that seems like a great temp especially consider the ambient temperature at the moment :)

Is there liquid in the cpu block yet?

It's i5 3570k. No still no liquid. No idea what's happening. But it's running good and I hope it stays the same way.

Its supposed to look like that.

The reason it looks "odd" is a combination of the fins in the block reducing the amount of coolant in that area and the "frosted" appearance of the plexi, this threw me slightly when I installed one of these blocks a few months back, if you shine a torch directly onto it so the light reflects back through the coolant you will see its fine. Mynight's image looks different because its an older design with clear plexi, and I believe less fins.
