**EK RELEASE THE NEW PREDATOR**

Hi,

I have been speaking with EK and at the moment they have no plans to release the unit as a GPU cooler or the unit with out the tubing.

They may look into this again but at the moment due to the MSI card release they are not planning on doing it.

It is shame they do not release the 280 or the 240 without the CPU block, only with the QDC.

Such product will allow the rest of us who have another Predator, to expand it. :(

Yes I agree but I think they will have a time limit on the MSI card so they will not release this type of predator until that time is up. So I do not expect anything for a while maybe around Christmas (sorry to say the word) if they do plan on doing it but we will just have to keep messaging them every so often.

I can't think of any reason it wouldn't, as there is space for 2 140mm fans there. I don't have my 540 in front of me, but as I recall there is enough room for the rad, pump, tubes etc, as well as the 140mm fans.

Thanks for the reply, I know a standard 280 radiator would fit and the 240 predator does, wasn't sure if the extra length on the 280 predator to accommodate the built-in pump and reservoir would be an issue.

Agreed black QDC's would be nice, but I can live with it for ease of card swapping
