Hi All,

I just wondered if any of you had seen the new D5 Revo pump top from EK...

The Pump / Res Combo:

Just the pump:

On a mount:

The new D5 Revo pump volute / body system features a fully rounded design thus offering greater usability, allowing installation at any angle within 360° of rotation. Special rubber shock absorber is used to de-couple the the main pump body from the mounting clip for silent operation, free of vibration induced noise. Additionaly, horizontal and vertical positioning are supported for easier tube routing possibilities.

Just ordered one for my first WC attempt on a Hex Gear R40 case! I like that its more compact don't really care about the vertical positioning. Will post my experience and pictures once i'm done.

They do look quite nice, definatly less bulky than the current Pumptops and pumpmount res's.

The new Moonsoon Modular Tube Res system thats out this month looks extremely promising aswell, the possibility with them are insane.

Me likey, nice and compact compared to the standard square top everyone does.

Wouldn't mind just the pump, but without the feet as an option for just hanging it off tubing.

Edit: Or is it an option if you just don't install the mounting clip to the pump body?

It's great that it's so compact compared to other D5 pump tos, but I feel the bracket is a bit cheap looking. It's got the same feel as the MX DDC res they recently released, which is a budget version. If they released a 'premium' version, with an smooth bracket to match the rest of the top, I might be all over this.

The reason for the bracket being like that is (I believe) it's made of rubber or similar to remove the vibrations from the pump to reduce noise.

While I lean more towards the current shapes, I like a this lot as well. Its great that they have something for all tastes now.
