This stuff scares the hell outta me , but id love to have a go at water cooling and these kits dont look hugely expensive

its really not difficult at all. the most time consuming part is the research and these kits take that factor out of it.
all you do is buy whichever kit that suits your case [radiator size] and fit it.
it couldn't be easier. The kits all come with full instructions for everything. you cant go wrong.

it actually works out cheaper than buying the same components separately.

This is a great product to stock, can see these flying out.

Personally watercooling has always terrified me but if something like this were available I'd definitely consider it for my next build.

this kit certainly takes the guesswork out of them.

I have added a brief analysis of my own to the product description to make things a bit clearer also.

I know absolutely nothing about water cooling!

What is the difference between the LT and HF ones? How big is the performance increase?

How easy are they really to set up?

When it says you need to 1L of distilled water, I thought you used a chemical coolant?

What case would you recommend with space to fit a 360cm radiator?

watercooling is not as difficult as it looks, and the maintenance is minimal. i clean my loop once a year or whenever I add new hardware.

the LT is a budget block, based on the supreme LT block with low impingement [not very restrictive] allowing for higher flow rate and efficient cooling. I'm not going to lie, this is a budget block but its EK so the quality is good and it does the job well. The EK-Supreme LT - UNI is a universal CPU block based on the EK-Supreme LT which is only available in this kit.

the HF block is a much more high end block and one that can be purchased on its own and has been EK's mid-high end block for a few months now.

None of those system have fittings for AM3 not to mention AM3+ ??

yes they do. these kits are all AMD compatible

a 480, you need a 480 block and two fittings.
I suggest one of the kits with a 360 radiator to do this.

How many fans do the kits include?

And why is it one version of the fan or the other?

I guess the fans depend on stock. they are yates though which are great WC fans.

the kits include enough fans for one side of the rad.
triple rad = 3 fans
double rad = 2 fans
single rad = 1 fan

don't think it would fit, well not without some serious modding.
check the dimensions of the rad on EKs website would be my advice.

Exactly this, and I don't have time to research.
If I were to get this, it would help my understanding a LOT and then I might continue my watercooling adventures and get higher end stuff on my own.

Now just to find the money...

that is a very good point, the main factor that most customers omit is the research involved in watercooling. Our sales team ask me to spec custom loops for customers often and this is because they find the spectrum of components confusing themselves. with kits like this, you are getting quality, standardised fittings. I always say that the best way to learn something is by doing it yourself, these kits practically walk you through it step by step. you also get the added bonus of being able to upgrade things in the kit easily.

if you wanted coloured tubing, you could buy that, if you wanted to add more premium fittings such as Bitspower, you could. it gives immense scope for customisation which is always a bonus to any enthusiast in my eyes

the T-Virus res would be compatible with this kit. you just omit the EK res included. you would need some extra fittings to include it.

i would suggest one of the HF kits if you plan on using that res as the pump is a lot better.

stock from EK is limited at the moment due to the new EN nickel plating process they have introduced. but we are looking to hold good stock of all lines.

Also, while I m at it, I can't seem to find a Ek full block for a 570, only 580...unless it fits both?

580 blocks fit the 570
the graphics card is the same layout but has bits missing off it.

the blue is an additive for distilled water - just buy a coolant that suits your tastes

Would it be smarter to test the loop outside of the case and then fit it just incase of a leak?
