hey there, i'm looking for some stretchy eleastic string stuff that i could use for suspending my hard drives in front of some fans in my case, aid cooling, help reduce vibration. does any one know where i can get this stuff? or even the correct name for the stuff so i can google/froogle/bay search for it? thanks

Bungee cord is the other name. If you have a decent outdoor camping type shop nearby they should do it by the metre. There are all sorts of thicknesses available, you only need maybe 3-4mm or so diameter, not the half inch stuff you use on roof racks.
 
hi m8, better still is if you(or missus) go into a dressmakers and get some elastic waist band as it goes into the slots easier on the case(depends what case). plus its wider than cord and will make your drives more stable ;)

Ps. slots= holes on case where you fix the hard drives :D
