Nah, it's just be some marketing rubbish CGI trailer to create hype. Personally sick of hearing about a new mmo nearly every week, greedy people still trying to chase WoWs massive success.

I'm actually quite bitter when it comes to MMO now, I openly hope this mmo will fail, even Swtor, taking my favourite SP games into mmos :shakefist: :D

Could be pretty good :D Look forward to seeing it - But I'm sure we won't be seeing it for a year or two yet :p
 
Scans of the American magazine GameInformer have been leaked on the net giving lots more information about the game. Some parts sound good, other parts sound like a direct WoW clone.

I assume we aren't allowed to post links to magazine scans so I haven't included the link. The site GamingSquid has more information though...

E: Nevermind, found them. Doesn't look too bad. The Indoril armour looks awesome :D.

Pff, it wouldn't even work Coop.

Either way the gameplay style is obviously going to change so there really isn't any point thinking about it that way. It'll just be a generic MMO but set in the TES universe, almost certainly ****ing up all the established lore while they're at it.
 
If it's a nicely polished PROPER sandbox MMO then I will no doubt bum it harder than I've ever bummed anything before. I don't even really like TES series, just a actual polished sandbox is what I want after SWG. I still mourn the loss :(
 
As a diehard WoW player, I've completely ignored 99% of recent MMOs to come out, but I have to admit this one does peak my interest. Hopefully they'll be able to make it work in a multiplayer format.
 
This might be the only game to make me break my no MMO rule....

Provided I don't give in to temptation and try out Eve

Edit: They had better bloody well be making an Elder Scrolls VI, VII, VII, IX and X! (Plus many more after)

Guessing they could use the same engine as the Skyrim one.

Remember seeing that video where half of Tamriel was rendered already in the skyrim engine.

So its more then a possibility that it could be in the Skyrim engine.
